Your Create Space

Your create space is more important than you know. If you are anything like me or the other creatives I know your create space is the place or area you protect or covet the most. A mess or things ending up not in their correct place can wreck havoc with your psyche and make it impossible for you to get in the head space needed to get any work done. It makes me anxious just to talk about such things!

Negative energy or toxic people intruding in your create space can also damage or block your mojo but I'll go into that more in a future post. I have had friends come over that finally made it into the inner sanctum only to tell me that I am a freak of nature when it came to my neat freak of a house. But that's the way I have to be. A mess and I'm beyond depressed. Even while I work it is organized chaos.

But everything in my space is specifically selected because it not just appeals to my tastes but also keeps up a certain feng shui. I build up positivity, creative patterns and inspirational triggers for myself in how I arrange my space. Even my daughter has her room set up to where every day after school she paints on her easel or builds some craft project that I usually wind up wearing.

So look at your space. Are you neat or messy? Can you create at home or would a coworking space suit your needs more? Which ever you are make sure that you protect that space. What can you imagine in your create space?
